A lot goes on behind the walls of this beautiful garden. Not just a major visitor attraction, Kew was set up in 1759 as a means to study and understand the botanical world. Now a world leader in plant science and conservation, its work is half funded by the Government with further funding from donors, memberships, and through partnerships like ours. With Kew’s passion for plants and our obsession with great taste from natural ingredients, we saw strength in our combined expertise, along with many shared values.

We only use the finest ingredients in our products – but you don’t have to take our word for it. All the fruits and herbs in our blends have been analysed by Kew’s experts, certifying the authenticity, quality and purity of our plant selections. Professor Monique S.J. Simmonds OBE, Director of Kew Innovation Unit, explains: “We are delighted to be able to use our knowledge about plant chemistry and the traditional uses of plants to assist Taylors develop a line of quality fruit and herbal infusions. It has been great fun working with Kate Halloran at Taylors to develop a range that brings together the flavours of plants from the orient and the fields of England.” And indeed the feeling is mutual, our expert tea blender Kate adds, “What Monique doesn’t know about plants isn’t worth knowing – with her knowledge, we have chosen real superhero fruits and herbs to include in our blends.” Visit www.kew.org to find out more about Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
